Everybody has questions

NORMAN -  The college football season is underway for a few teams and it'll get going for everyone on the final Saturday in August.  Whether ranked or unranked each team has question marks and things that must be figured out.

Florida State is the preseason number one team in the country and they've got 14 starters from last season's team that won all 14 games.  What possibly could they have to worry about?  Well when your winning streak is 16 straight your opponents tend to make your game the biggest of the season and the more the streak grows the more likely it will come to an end.

Closer to home Oklahoma is three in one poll and four in another but many still question how good the Sooners are especially some of the national analysts like ESPN's David Pollack.

"I'm not the biggest Oklahoma supporter.  I'm not buying Oklahoma.  Trevor Knight, one game doesn't tell me enough.  I want to see more," said Pollack.  So the Alabama win didn't do it but he also has other concerns..  "First off he lost most of his weapons.  If Dorial Green Beckham could play that would he been as easy transition.  Oklahoma's gonna have to show they can be consistent."

If that makes the Sooner Nation mad remember thsi everything up to this point is just talk, good or bad.  They haven't played a game yet and they'll have 12 opportunities to prove their point beginning Saturday with game one.

The Oklahoma City Thunder traded backup center Hasheem Thabeet to the Philadelphia 76ers. The Thunder send cash and Thabeet in exchange for a protected second round pick in 2015 and a trade exception. The move saves OKC $1.25 million that they would have had to pay Thabeet if he had been on the roster August 31st. Oklahoma City now has about $2.8 million in cap space to tinker with the roster that has 14 players. It's expected Philly will waive Thabeet to avoid paying him $1.25 million.
