NW OKLAHOMA CITY - A high-speed chase through the metro ends with one man behind bars Monday morning.

Police arrested 34-year-old Zechariah Johnson after they say he led them on a chase which ended on Wilshire Boulevard just west of Broadway Extension.

Officers say just before 3 a.m. on Monday, a woman called 911 from a gas station near I-35 and 122nd saying she had been raped.

She was able to describe the suspect and his vehicle for police, who were then able to located the alleged car near I-44 and I-35.

Officers tried to pull over the alleged driver Johnson, but when he wouldn't stop, a chase ensued.

Lt. Michelle Holland of the OKCPD told Fox 25, "(We) had officers in the area who were able to locate what they believe was the vehicle and attempt a traffic stop on the vehicle. It didn't stop and initiated a pursuit."

At some points during the chase, police say speeds were as high as 80 miles an hour.

A few minutes later the suspect stopped his car near Wilshire Boulevard and Broadway Extension. That's where officers were able to take the Johnson into custody.
