VIDEO: Dad eggs on his daughter to beat up another girl, 'scratch her eyes out'

HAMILTON, Ohio - (WCPO) A fight between teenage girls could lead to charges against an Ohio father.

The fight was caught on video and posted on social media. It was shot in the middle of a field in Hamilton, Ohio, with one girl on top of another, repeatedly punching her.

Police say as the 13-year-old gets on top of the 15-year-old girl, the younger girl's father enters the scene and starts egging her on. You can hear him telling her to hit harder, to scratch her eyeballs out. He calls the 15-year-old a "crybaby" and says her “daddy's gonna get it too.”

“The issue that we've had and that the department is really concerned about is the fact you had adults encouraging the fighting behavior,” said Sgt. Ed Buns, Hamilton Police Department.

Buns says detectives spoke with the parents of the girl who took the beating and they didn't want any police action.

That means there likely won't be any assault charges filed, but he says if and when they positively identify the man in the video, they will pursue charges of "inciting to violence."

“If parents want to cheer on their children, that's great,” Buns said. “Cheerlead them in sports, cheerlead them to do well in school.

“No responsible parent is going to cheerlead their children to beat another child up.”

WCPO identified the man and asked for a comment about the incident, but he refused.
