OKC Firefighters: House complete loss, power line down

OKC Firefighters: House complete loss, power line down

Posted: Updated:
Investigators are trying to figure out the cause of a Monday morning fire in downtown OKC.

The fire broke out at a house near NW 2nd and Villa a little before 4 a.m.

Firefighters say no one was inside the home at the time and a passerby called in the blaze.

About 25 to 30 firefighters responded to the house fire and now investigators are trying to figure out what sparked it.

Firefighters say the home, worth about $19K, is considered a total loss.

Records indicate someone is renting the home, but they were not home at the time. Authorities are currently trying to contact the renter.

A fire official tells FOX 25 that the fire caused a power line to fall into the house, but say power to other homes was not affected.
