OKLAHOMA CITY - Police have arrested the driver of a pick-up truck for a DUI Monday morning. Police say two people were sent to the hospital after the red pick-up truck smashed into the back of a parked semi-truck.

It happened around 5:15 a.m. on Broadway Ext. Service Rd. right before the Kilpatrick Turnpike.  Two people, including the driver, were cut from the pick-up truck and rushed to the hospital.

The driver, Alex Nikdel, was arrested for DUI with great bodily injury.

The driver of the semi was inside his cab at the time of the accident, but wasn't hurt.

Police say it happened on a dead end road that services local businesses along the street.
