Posted: Updated:
The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced late Friday that agents are investigating a bank robbery in Warr Acres.

Officials say they were called to the Bank of the West in 5700 block of NW Expressway just after 10:00 AM Friday.

According to the FBI, two Hispanic men walked into the bank and yelled "Everybody get on the ground." The FBI said the first man told the tellers to empty drawers into a plastic bag while the second man kept the employees and customers on the ground.

The FBI said the men left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. According to the report, the men jumped into an older SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer with faded blue paint.

The first man is described as Hispanic, medium build, wearing a nylon stocking over his head and face, a dark long sleeve shirt with white horizontal stripes, dark baseball style cap, white gloves, dark pants with a white stripe down the leg and carrying a white plastic bag.

The second man is also Hispanic, medium build, wearing a long sleeve green shirt with white horizontal stripes, blue jeans, dark ski mask, dark gloves, white sneakers, and a black revolver.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI at (405)290-7770.
