Pedestrian reportedly hit by car in Northwest OKC

Police are investigating a morning auto pedestrian accident in northwest Oklahoma City.

A little after 6 a.m., a silver Toyota sedan reportedly hit a woman at NW Expressway and Meridian Ave as she was crossing the street. The woman did not have a crosswalk.

She was taken to a nearby hospital and is reportedly in critical condition.

The driver was not hurt.  Police investigated, but did not arrest the driver.

EB NW Expressway was closed at Meridian Avenue for close to two hours.
