Man wanted for stealing watches from Oklahoma City Target

Posted: Updated:
The Oklahoma City Police Department is looking for a man who they say stole hundreds of dollars worth of watches from a north OKC Target.

Police say the unknown man first tried to steal from the store on May 13th but was caught by employees and forced to put the items back.

On the 16th, police say he returned to the same store and picked up a pocket knife from sporting goods and then walked to the electronics department. Police say he then grabbed two smart watches and walked to the toy area, where they say he pocketed them both.

Police said he then walked out of the store without paying for the items.

Two days later, police say he returned for a third time and took two more smart watches. Police say he once again walked to the toy department, pocketed the items, and then walked out of the store without paying for them.

Police say the four watches stolen are worth $300 each.

Police describe the man was being an African American, 210 lbs, black hair and brown and eyes, 20-30 years old. They say he was driving a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer with an Oklahoma tag 217 FJG.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Oklahoma City Police.
