Thunder Resurgence key to win over Spurs

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY - Serge Ibaka returned the Oklahoma City lineup and his play was a big part of the Thunder beating the San Antonio Spurs 106-97.  Ibaka hit 6-7 shots and scored 15 points to go along with seven rebounds and  four block shots.
The block shots were big because he altered several other shots.  The Spurs had averaged 60 points in the paint the first two games but only scored 40 in Sunday night's loss.
Thunder coach Scott Brooks also inserted Reggie Jackson into the starting lineup in place of Thabo Sefolosha, who has had a tough time finding his offense in the series.  Jackson had 15 points, five assists and four rebounds.
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook led OKC in scoring with Westbrook scoring 26 and Durant adding 25.  The Thunder also outrebounded the Spurs 52-36 and they also hit 26 of 31 from the free throw line while the Spurs were 15-16 from the charity stripe.
San Antonio still leads the series 2-1 with game four Tuesday night again in Oklahoma City.  Tip-off is 8:00.
