Gracemont, OK suffers damage from storm

Posted: Updated:
CADDO COUNTY - High winds and hail hit the town of Gracemont in Caddo County shortly before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night.  There have been no reports of injuries but the Caddo Co. Emergency Manger Larry McDuffey says a house to house search is being mounted in the town.

Personnel from at least six fire departments, the Caddo Co. Sheriff's Office and emergency management will be part of the search.

Power lines were blown down by the storm and the website for the Caddo Electric Cooperative was reporting over nineteen outages in the county affecting more than 600 customers.

Flash flood warnings have been issued by the National Weather Service for parts of central Oklahoma including northwest McClain, western Oklahoma, northern Grady, northwestern Cleveland and southeastern Canadian counties.  The warning will expire at 2:45 a.m.
