"Basement, now!" This WTVA meteorologist interrupts his own live coverage of a tornado to shout safety instructions to his crew.

Matt Laubhan is the Chief Meteorologist for WTVA, the NBC affiliate in Tupelo, Mississippi. As a tornado began tearing through the city, he yelled at the news studio crew to evacuate.

On Monday afternoon a line of severe thunderstorms with tornadic activity swept through the area, the National Weather Service reported. YouTube user Lucas Wiseman uploaded this video to his channel on Monday afternoon.

The station later tweeted that it and the employees were all safe.
