EDMOND -

One local university is honoring the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing anniversary with flags. Saturday is the 19th anniversary of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing.

Students and staff posted 168 Oklahoma flags and 168 US flags on the front lawn to honor those lives lost in the Oklahoma City Murrah Bombing. The "Ralph and Maxine Harvey Field of Flags" serves as a dual tribute to both the victims of 9/11 and the Murrah Bombing.

The University's President says he hopes that each person who sees the memorial tribute will take a moment to remember the 168 lives lost on that dreadful day.

John deSteiguer, President of OK Christian University, says, "We really want to commemorate the lives that were lost and the family members that remain. We will never forget, just like the folks downtown will never forget."

The 19th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony will begin at 8:55am Saturday morning at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum.  As in years past, 168 seconds of silence will be observed at 9:02am.
