Police: Edmond man recorded sex acts with minors in Oklahoma City hotel

Posted: Updated:

The Oklahoma City Police Department says it arrested an Edmond man this weekend after a 17-year-old called and said the man was having sex with a different 17-year-old in an Oklahoma City hotel room.

61-year-old Joseph K. Heselton, Jr. was arrested Saturday around 4:00 AM at Crowne Plaza Hotel.

According to police, a 17-year-old called from the hotel's parking lot saying a friend, also 17 years old, was in the room with Heselton, naked and having sex with the man. Police arrived and spoke with Heselton who confirmed the girl was in the room with him but she was naked. The officer on the scene said that's when the 17-year-old ran out of the bathroom to put on clothes.

The officer stepped inside the room and reported a tripod by the bed and a camera case nearby. The officer reported the teen said she was his girlfriend and had been for two days.

According to the police report, the girl admitted that Heselton had filmed her performing a sexual act. She said she also had performed a sexual act on camera for Heselton at his home in Edmond.

A different 17-year-old girl said the two teens and Heselton had a threesome in the room and it was videotaped.

Heselton was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on two counts of possession of child pornography/obscene materials.
