Oklahoma State student killed on spring break by suspected drunk driver

Police say Kasey Waychoff was killed when a drink driver hit her in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
29-year-old Justin Ellis Lott was arrested for DUI in connection to the death of an Oklahoma State student in Gulf Shores, Ala.
There's a quiet stillness that can felt at OSU and not just because it's Spring break.The loss of one of their own taken by a suspected drunk driver...a Texas girl with a bright smile and a big heart.
Students who knew Kasey Waychoff where reluctant to go on camera but talked about what a sweet young woman she was and how she lived life to the fullest.
Many took time to post heartfelt messages on twitter to her family, friends and sorority sisters.
The University also issued this statement: Oklahoma State University is saddened by the tragic death of one of our students. The sophomore from Flower Mound, Texas was in Gulf Shores, Alabama at the time of her death. The thoughts of the entire OSU community go out to her family and friends.
And we also reached out Kasey's grandfather in Tulsa. Handy Waychoff held back tears as he spoke about Kasey who he called his baby girl,"We just don't understand why she's gone, she is just gone and we know we won't get her back. The only thing we got now are memories and we don't understand drunk drivers."
Everyone is still just trying to process what happened to this young woman.
In the days ahead we will be keeping in touch with her grandfather to find out about funeral arrangements as the family deals with this tragedy.
