Gambler suing to avoid paying debt to casino

Posted: Updated:

Gamblers lose millions of dollars a year in Vegas, but one man is fighting to get the $500,000 he lost... back!

Mark Johnston is suing the Downtown Grand for loaning him money and allowing him to play while he was drunk.

He was in Vegas playing the table on Superbowl weekend.

Nevada law bars casinos from allowing visibly drunk patrons to gamble and from serving them comped drinks.

The Grand is counter suing Johnston for trying to shirk his gambling debts.

The Nevada State Gaming Control Board is investigating.
