A man wanted for a string of car break-ins at an Oklahoma City daycare and for leading police on a pursuit that forced three schools into lockdown, has been arrested.

U.S. Marshals told FOX 25 on Monday they arrested 50-year-old Jesse Hisaw near NW 1st and Pennsylvania. Marshals say Hisaw and his girlfriend, Leslie Stephin, were both arrested.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff was searching for Hisaw Wednesday afternoon after they tried to serve a warrant for stolen property. Deputies say when they tried to arrest him, he sped off in a stolen pickup truck near I40 and S. Post Road in Midwest City.

Deputies searched the area for several hours and the school district put three schools on lockdown during the search.

Stephin faces a charge of harboring a fugitive.
