Reporter takes tumble into creek on camera

Posted: Updated:

A reporter for a FOX 25 sister station in Huntington, West Virginia, is okay even after he took a backwards tumble into a cold creek flowing with coal slurry.

WCHS-TV reporter Bob Aaron set up his camera and walked in front of it to begin his story. As he settled in, he lost his balance and tumbled backwards into the creek.

Thankfully, Aaron says the only thing hurt was his pride, though briefly. He says he can now laugh about it.

Aaron was reporting on a creek contaminated with 100,000 gallons of coal slurry when he fell in the water.
