Armed robber makes off with over $5,500 in game merchandise

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A masked robber armed with a handgun stole over $5,500 worth of merchandise from an area business Sunday evening.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, the suspect approached a store employee as they were taking out the trash at the Gamestop in the 2300 block of W. Memorial Sunday. The suspect told the employee "to just act cool and everything will be alright" while holding a handgun.

A second suspect then went inside the store and began stealing Playstation 3 games from the shelf. The first suspect told the employee to take him to the safe. The two suspects were able to steal 10 Xbox One units as well as money from the register.

The suspects then left the business through the back door.

The victims described the first suspect as a white male standing at approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall with an average build. The second suspect was a white male standing at approximately 5 feet, 6 inches with an average build.
