Facebook responds to father's emotional plea to Mark Zuckerburg

For one father, Facebook's release of ‘Look-Back' videos, which presented users a personalized slideshow of their photos and statuses since joining the social media network, was a harsh reminder of a painful loss.

Earlier this week, Facebook released a "Look-back" feature that allowed users to put in a certain address and relive the last ten years on the social network. For most users, it was a fantastic trip back in time. For one dad, it was a harsh reminder of a painful loss.

John Berlin, according to his February 5 post on YouTube, lost his 21-year-old son of undetermined natural causes on January 28, 2012 and says he's not able to access his account. So he wanted the Facebook founder to help out.

"I'm calling out to Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook," Berlin said in the video, choking back tears. "Well my son passed away January 28, 2012 and we can't access his Facebook account...all we want to do is see his movie, that's it."

Berlin pleaded for family and friends to share the video in an attempt to make it go viral.

"Maybe somebody will see it that counts," Berlin said. "I know it's a shot in the dark but I don't care. I want to see my son's video. His name is Jesse Berlin. Please help me."

The video was viewed over 765,000 times in just a day, and Berlin saw results.

"The response is overwhelming," Berlin wrote in the comments under his video. "We just wanted to see a 1 minute vid. We're going to get that vid. FB contacted us and they're going to work on that vid. I want to thank everyone, for your support. I didn't know what to expect from this but it was worth a try. My son was 21 and died of natural causes, his autopsy came back undetermined. He is proof that there are no guarantees in life. Hug your children kiss them. Tell them you love them every single day. Again I thank every single one of you, even the dislikes. God Bless."
