Oklahoma City Seahawks? Mustang Brewing Co. sparks social battle

Posted: Updated:

Sports fans in the city of Seattle seemingly haven't gotten over losing the Super Sonics to Oklahoma City, something evident after Mustang Brewing Co. posted the attached image.

Pro Line Designs posted the image of the fake shirt first in response to Mustang Brewing writing "Maybe Oklahoma City should buy the Seahawks, too." It features the Seahawk logo that reads "Oklahoma City Seahawks 2015 NFC Champions". When the Oklahoma brewery posted the image to Twitter, it wrote "Looks good to us! ;-)"

Shortly after, the brewery was under fire from Seattle fans but also claimed about two dozen had called in hopes of buying the shirt. Unfortunately, the image was not available for sale from the brewing company.

Muslims Oklahomans are being warned to be cautious in public to avoid becoming victims of hate crimes. CAIR-Oklahoma issued the warning, alongside other Council on American-Islamic Relations chapters across the country. This month, there have been two attacks in New York against Muslims. Both cases are linked to ethnic bias.
