OKC Thunder stop streak against Heat

Posted: Updated:

The OKlahoma City Thunder had lost the last six times they had played the Miami Heat.  That streak ended as the Thunder beat the Heat 112-95.

The Thunder didn't start the game well.  Miami went on an 18-0 run in the first quarter and led by as many as 18 points.  But the bench got OKC back in it with Jeremy Lamb and Derek Fisher leading the way.  Lamb finished with 18 points while Fisher added 15.

Both Kevin Durant and Lebron James played well with James scoring 34 points  while Durant scored 33 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.  It's the 12th straight game Durant has scored at least 30 points.  Serge Ibaka was also good with 22 points and 8 rebounds.

The Thunder's record is now 37-10.  They hit 16 three pointers in the win.
