Oklahoma State's Stewart declares for NFL draft on Instagram

Posted: Updated:

Oklahoma State Cowboy wide receiver Josh Stewart announced Tuesday he's leaving Stillwater for the NFL draft.

The junior WR announced his plans on his Instagram account saying he was declaring himself for the draft. He also wrote that it was "one of the most hardest decommissions I've had to make".

He also thanked the Cowboy fans and hope they "continue to follow me throughout this journey".

Stewart had 60 catches for 703 yards and three touchdowns in the 2013 season. He missed two games because of an apparent ankle injury. His sophomore season was his most productive one: he caught 101 balls for 1210 yards and seven touchdowns and was named to the first-team All-Big 12. He broke onto the scene in Stillwater his freshman year when he picked up 19 catches for 281 yards, and two touchdowns.
