Fire crews extinguish fire at northeast Oklahoma City vacant property

Fire crews extinguished a fire at a vacant home in northeast Oklahoma City Saturday afternoon.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, fire crews were called to a home in the 1200 block of Standish Ave. just after 3 p.m. Saturday. The fire was extinguished before 4 p.m.

Crews say the fire caused $10,000 worth of damage to the vacant home. No one was injured in the blaze.

The cause of the fire is suspicious. The Oklahoma City Fire Department urges all property owners to keep their abandoned property secure.
