FBI searching for suspect in MidFirst Bank robbery

OKLAHOMA CITY -

The FBI is investigating after a bank was robbed in southwest Oklahoma City Monday afternoon.

According to the FBI, just after 4:45 p.m. Monday an unknown suspect robbed the MidFirst Bank branch at 7403 S. Pennsylvania.

The suspect approached the teller and provided a note demanding money and stating that he had a gun. The teller complied and placed money in a plastic shopping bag. The suspect left the bank as a passenger in a gold-colored vehicle.

Earlier Monday, authorities apprehended a suspect as they attempted to rob a bank in NE Oklahoma City.

The suspect kept his hand in his pocket during the robbery and no weapon was seen during the robbery.

Authorities describe the suspect as a black male in his mid-20s. The suspect is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and a medium build. The suspect has a brown mustache and was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt with a red Polo emblem. The suspect was wearing a black knit stocking cap with an opening around the face.
