OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City firefighters battle an early morning blaze in a home that caught fire two weeks ago.

The fire broke out around 5:00 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 1800 block of NW 42nd, near Pennsylvania.

When they arrived on the scene, firefighters found flames shooting 30 feet from the roof.  The center of the home collapsed forcing firefighters to just fight it in a defensive mode.

Neighbors told fire investigators they saw transients running from the home Monday afternoon.

No word on how the fire started.

Firefighters called in police to divert traffic near NW 42 and Indiana when a ladder truck damaged a bridge over a small creek.

No injuries are reported.
