OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma City Fire Department is investigating after a fire broke out at an apartment complex late Monday.

Crews responded to the fire just after 9:30 p.m. Monday at the Oak Creek Apartments, 5915 S. Lee. Upon arrival at the scene, crews reported heavy flames.

Fire officials evacuated approximately 50 people from the complex. Crews were able to extinguish the fire just before 10 p.m.
