Oklahoma City hit by 4.5 earthquake

3:56 p.m. -

The USGS is reporting a second earthquake in the Oklahoma City metro area.

At 1:26 p.m. a reported 2.8 earthquake was reported with its epicenter located 4 mile southeast of Edmond and six miles southwest of the epicenter of the earlier quake.

No damage has been reported.

The Oklahoma Geological Survey is reporting a series of four earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 1.8 to 3.0 since the 4.5 quake hit just after noon on Saturday.

2:00 p.m. -

Reports continue to come into Fox 25 News. People are reporting feeling the quake from Lawton to Hydro to Enid.

Others report feeling the quake in Ada and in Okemah, as well as Muskogee. There have been reports of minor damage to walls in the Edmond area, with paintings and books falling to the floor in other areas.

12:26 p.m. -

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) is reporting an earthquake located 5 miles northwest of Jones and seven miles east of Edmond.

The temblor hit at 12:10 p.m. and had been rated at 4.5 magnitude. The shaking was felt across the metro area. Many people have reported feeling the quake but few reports of damage at this time.

Some of the reports from people say the quake was felt as far south as Ada.
