Viral video documents premature baby's struggle for life

COLUMBUS, OHIO -

A video showing the emotions surrounding a baby boy born 15 weeks early has taken the Internet by storm this week.

The video, uploaded by the baby's father Benjamin Scot, shows their son's first year struggle to survive.

Scot and his wife Lyndsey say their son Miles was born weighing just one pound, 13 ounces. Doctors told the couple the boy had a 50/50 chance of survival.

The Scots spent more than 100 days in the NICU before they were finally allowed to go home. The parents say Miles, now 16 months old, has no lasting health issues.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for western Oklahoma until 11PM Wednesday.  As of now, no part of this watch covers any part of the Metro. A severe thunderstorm watch means conditions for severe thunderstorms are possible, and we've already seen a few storms in western Oklahoma this evening.
