Kmart's Joe Boxer ad: too racy?

Kmart's Joe Boxer ad: too racy?

Posted: Updated:

Kmart's latest commercial ahead of Christmas is gathering a lot of buzz online but it's not necessarily good buzz.

The ad starts with six men wearing tuxedoes standing behind a table playing the final bar of 'Silent Night' with hand bells. The table then slides off screen and the men are revealed to be wearing boxer shorts and not tuxedo pants.

The add continues with the men moving their hips to 'Jingle Bells'.

This isn't K-Mart's first brush with controversy this year. In April, the company posted a popular "Ship my pants" add that features people talking about shipping their pants when ordering items online.

In September, K-Mart began airing its first ad featuring a creepy gingerbread man creeping up on a woman at an office. The idea being Christmas is creeping up on you. The video has since been taken removed from YouTube.
