Waitress stiffed by family because of "lifestyle"

A family left a waitress with no tip and this explanation: "I'm sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle and how you live your life.'

When you go out to eat at a sit-down restaurant, a tip is customary but not mandatory. When a New Jersey waitress was stiffed, though, they left a hurtful note as to why.

Dayna Morales served as a Marine before taking on her current job of serving tables for the past decade. She says good service is her hallmark, along with always being punctual, professional, and precise.

On Wednesday, her best efforts were for naught as a customer left not a cent as a tip. But it had nothing to do with her service.

She said after they paid the $93 bill, they wrote on the receipt "I'm sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle and how you live your life.'

Dayna knew it would be tough from the moment she introduced herself

"Normal introduction. 'My name is Dana . I'll be taking care of you.' Right away the mom looked at me and said, 'I thought you were going to say your name was Dan,'" Dayna recalls.

Dayna says she's homosexual but said she never shared it with the family and thinks her sexual preference has nothing to do with how she serves the table.

The family's name has not been released because the restaurant says it's private.
