The Oklahoma City Police Department and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery in North Oklahoma City.

The robbery happened just before 12:15 Thursday at the MidFirst Bank in the 13000 block of North May.

Officials with the Federal Bureau of Investigation say the suspect was wearing a dark suit and had on a blonde wig when he walked into the bank. The man walked up an employee at her desk and threatened to harm her if she did not give him money. The employee took him over to the teller counter where he was given an undisclosed amount of money and then took off on foot.

The FBI says the man came into the bank on Wednesday under the guise of applying for a loan. He spoke to the same employee he approached on Thursday.

The suspect is described as a white man, 25-35 years old, 5'8" – 5'10", 170 - 190 lbs., wearing a dark gray or black suit, light peach or pink shirt and tie, and blonde wig.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (405) 290-7770.
