President Barack Obama slips in Forbes' most powerful people

President Barack Obama has slipped on Forbes' list of the 10 most powerful people. President Barack Obama has slipped on Forbes' list of the 10 most powerful people.

Forbes has released its list of the world's most powerful people for 2013 and President Obama is sliding backwards.

In 2012, the President got the top spot but has been unseated in 2013 by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Pope Francis is a newcomer to the list and German Chancellor Angela Merkel is the only woman in the top 10.

Forbes says the ranking represents their scope of influence and financial resources compared to their peers.
