Zombies help make perfect proposal in haunted house

Surrounded by zombies, Nick Showman got the answer he was hoping for when he popped the question to Stephanie Hill. Surrounded by zombies, Nick Showman got the answer he was hoping for when he popped the question to Stephanie Hill.

A man proposing to his girlfriend decided an event that only happens in October is the perfect location for his marriage proposal.

Nick Showman set it all up, from the zombies to the news crew stationed outside, all to get a moment that will live on forever.

Stephanie Hill and Nick showed up to the haunted house in Phoenix, Arizona ready to be scared. A news crew was on scene and told her that it was National Haunted House Day.

Her biggest concern? The clowns.

"I just don't want there to be too many clowns -- or any clowns."

After the clowns, she had to take to take on the zombies. As they made their way through Zombieland, they became pinned down and trapped on a bridge. Nick stumbled and a that's when a zombie armed dropped on him and he asked the question.

"Will you take my hand in marriage?"

The ring was attached to the arm. And the answer?

"Yes, yes."

Zombies "cheered" and then chased them out. Once they left the haunted house, Stephanie reacted to the big moment.

"I didn't know what he was doing. He just sort of stopped, and I'm like, 'What are you doing? There are zombies! Let's go."

So what does she think of his haunted proposal?

"Best way to ever, ever do it. I love that."
