Fortune Magazine has released its top 25 highest paid women of 2012 and the number one spot goes to Oracle's President and CFO Safra Catz who made $43 million.

The list compiles the top 25 earners for the year, not necessarily the richest women in the world.

Right behind Catz is Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer who made $36 million. Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg is $10 million behind her.
