OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City Police are on the scene of a homicide near Southwest 74th and Walker.

Police were called to the intersection just before three to a report of a shooting. According to Sgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department, someone was killed.

Police on scene tell FOX 25 the victim was shot near 7000 S. Walker when he climbed into his car. Police say he collided with a car at the intersection of SW 74th and Walker.

Oklahoma City Police say they're unsure if the victim died from the gunshot wound or from injuries sustained in the accident.

Officials say they're still looking for the person responsible for the shooting but do not have a suspect or suspect description.

Webster Middle School was locked down as police searched the area for a suspect in the shooting. Just before 4:00 PM, the lock down was lifted. [EDIT: FOX 25 was initially told Jefferson Middle School was locked down by Oklahoma City Public Schools. We apologize for this error]

The westbound off-ramp at I-240 and South Walker was shut-down as officials investigated but it was reopened just before 4:00 PM.

Police ask anyone with information to call police.
