OKLAHOMA CITY -

Miki Farris, cofounder and executive director of Infant Crisis Services, is one of five recipients of Traditional Home magazine's 2013 Classic Woman Awards. Farris is being featured in the magazine's October 2013 issue, which is on newsstands now.

Traditional Home honored Farris at the magazine's premier Classic Woman Awards luncheon at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel ballroom in New York City on Monday, September 16. The event was hosted by CBS anchor Norah O'Donnell and editor in chief Ann Omvig Maine. The ninth-annual Classic Woman Awards program celebrates the spirit of volunteerism by recognizing standout charitable women from across the country.

And Ms. Farris was able to stop by Fox 25 Morning News to talk about her great accomplishment.
