Ammunition believed to be exploding as fire torches Oklahoma City house

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Fire crews on the scene of a house fire in northeast Oklahoma City say they're hearing explosions as they fight the flames.

Crews were called to the home in the 900 block of NE 81st near Kelly and Wilshire.

Firefighters have reported hearing explosions while on the scene and believe it could be ammunition going off.

Crews on the scene say the house is a total loss and believe it may be suspicious. Arson investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
