Oklahoma announces it's non-conference football schedule for the 2014 season. The Sooners will once again play a team from Louisiana, will play Tulsa again, and play host to an SEC team.
The season will begin with Louisiana Tech coming to town August 30th. It will be the first meeting between the two schools. Oklahoma will then host Tennessee from the Southeastern Conference September 13th. This will be the first meeting for the two schools since the 1968 Orange Bowl. OU and Tennessee also met in the 1939 Orange Bowl.
The Sooners will return the trip in 2015, when they travel to Knoxville. OU's final non-conference game is against Tulsa. Bob Stoops is a perfect 7-0 vs Tulsa since he became coach in 1999.
