Rapper 'Mack Maine' charged with assaulting woman on Lil Wayne's tour bus

Posted: Updated:

It's been almost one month since Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and others took the stage at Chesapeake Energy Arena, but since the show ended, 12 people connected with the concert have been arrested for crimes in the Sooner State.

Rapper Mack Maine, real name Jermaine Anthony Preyan, is charged with aggravated assault and sexual battery of a woman who was on board the tour bus belonging to rap superstar Lil Wayne.

The victim told police she was invited on board the tour bus while she was at the concert. She and a friend went on board and while she was in the bus' restroom, her friend said the 33-year-old Preyan reached into her dress and groped her.

When the two women tried leaving, they told Police Preyan held the door shut and then punched the victim in the face, breaking her jaw in two places.

This incident happened just after the concert ended. A few hours later, 2 Chainz' tour bus was pulled over for a faulty taillight.

2 Chainz and the other 10 men on the bus refused to allow officers to search it after police smelled and saw marijuana smoke.

9 hours later, the bus was towed to a police lot as officers awaited a warrant to search the bus. All arrested for obstruction of a public officer.

Just last week, 2 Chainz apologized to the people of Oklahoma in an interview with MTV.
