The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a juvenile suspect is in custody after a pursuit during which shots were fired by troopers.

State Troopers were helping Sapulpa Police in Creek County with the pursuit of a suspected stolen vehicle. The suspect had been running other drivers off the road.

Troopers attempted to end the pursuit with a tactical vehicle intervention, (TVI), the suspect refused to stop and tried to run over two troopers who were on foot. Those troopers opened fire at the vehicle. The pursuit continued.

A second TVI was performed and the vehicle was disabled. The suspect was taken into custody. There were no injuries connected with the incident.

The juvenile suspect's name is being withheld at this time.
