Dozens of inmates listed as escaped in Oklahoma

The State of Oklahoma says the public's help is needed to find 83 people who have escaped custody from the state in the past 40 years and are still on the run.

Officials keep a running list of escaped inmates online. Some have been missing from as far back as 1973 while others have escaped in the past few months.

Officials say these men and women are wanted for serious and often violent crimes. Anyone who sees them is urged not to approach them but call the Oklahoma
