SHAWNEE -

The FBI is searching for a suspect who robbed Shawnee's Bison Federal Credit Union Monday.

According to authorities, a female entered the credit union at 3:45 p.m. Monday and gave a teller a note demanding money. The teller gave the subject an undisclosed amount of money in a white purse with a shoulder strap. The suspect then left the building.

No weapon was observed or threatened but the subject kept her hand in her purse the entire robbery. The suspect was observed entering the passenger side of a light gray or silver Chrysler 300 or similar vehicle. The vehicle was last seen going northbound on Broadway Ave.

Police describe the suspect as a 5 foot, 10 inch to 6 foot tall black female weighing approximately 200-240 pounds. The suspect has long black hair in braids and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark sunglasses during the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information on the robber is requested to call the Oklahoma City FBI office at 405-290-7770.

The stress over body image is leading to a dangerous practice. While women focus on being thin, many men are looking to bulk up. For a growing number of men, the idea of bigger is better is turning into a complex psychiatric disorder called bigorexia or muscle dysmorphia.
