OSBI identifies body found at Northeastern State University

Posted: Updated:

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says they have identified a body found in a vehicle at Northeastern State University to be a Tahlequah man.

The OSBI was called to the University on Sunday by University Police who found the man's body inside a vehicle around 4:15 PM. On Monday, officials said the victim is 48-year-old Anthony George Scott, a Tahlequah man.

Police officials say they're still unsure how Scott died but the death is considered to be suspicious and are waiting on autopsy results to determine the cause of death.
