Body found in vehicle at Northeastern State University

TAHLEQUAH -

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is collecting information and evidence after a body was found in a Tahlequah vehicle.

According to authorities, the Northeastern State University Police Department received a call around 4:15 p.m. Sunday reporting a man's body inside a vehicle near the university's football stadium.

Upon arrival, officials discovered the man was dead. OSBI was called in to help investigate the death.

The man's identity and cause of death are currently unknown.
