OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed free agent forward Ryan Gomes to a one year contract.  Reports say the contract is not fully guaranteed.

Gomes, who played in Germany last season, last played in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2011-12 season.

He was originally a 2nd round draft pick by the Boston Celtics in 2005.  He also spent three season's with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The 6-8 forward has career averages of 10 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

    The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Detroit Pistons 112-111 to secure the second seed in the Western Conference Playoffs.
    The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Detroit Pistons 112-111 to secure the second seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. It wasn't a pretty game for the Thunder but the bottom line is they got the win with Kevin Durant scoring a layup with :16 seconds left to give OKC the final victory margin.

    The Oklahoma City Thunder were beaten by the New Orleans Pelicans 101-89 at Smoothie King Arena. The loss kept the Thunder from clinching the second seed in the Western Conference playoff picture.

    Tyreke Evans poured in 41 points to lead the Pelicans, who had lost ten straight games to the Thunder. Oklahoma City was led by Serge Ibaka, who scored 22 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and dished out five assists. Kevin Durant added 25 points in a losing effort.
