Oklahoma City police arrest murder suspect

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police have arrested a murder suspect from one of three murders Tuesday.

Oklahoma City Police arrested Jeffrey Canaday, the son of 57-year-old James Canaday who was found dead in a home Tuesday night. Canaday was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a first degree murder complaint Saturday.

Police found James dead inside a home near SE 55th and Byres Avenue around 9:00 PM Tuesday. A witness called 911 report a dead body inside the home. When detectives arrived, they determined he had been murdered.

Later that night, two other murders occurred. At this time, police do not have any suspects for those two deaths.
