OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police in Oklahoma City are investigating an early morning shooting.

They say it all happened near Northwest 36th & Portland Thursday around 4:50 a.m.

Keaton Cotton says he was the man shot at while he was in his car.

"I was driving down the street and the guy wanted my car. I said no but was I was looking at him, he pulled up a gun. When I saw the gun, I ducked and he fired one round at me." Cotton said.

But it didn't end there. Cotton pulled away but the man got into another car and followed him, firing five more shots, blowing out Cotton's back window and trunk.

The suspect caught up to Cotton and the two were driving side-by-side. That's when Cotton slammed on his breaks and immediately hit the gas (pit maneuver) to spin out the other driver near NW 36th and Villa. The suspect crashed into a house with his car before driving away.

Allen Standridge lives in that home. He tells us he was up, drinking coffee and watching TV when it happened.

Standridge says he heard the vehicle outside, felt his house shake and then heard gun shots. That's when he called the police.

Police say Cotton's car has been towed for an investigation. Police and Cotton both say there were bullets throughout the car.

Another vehicle has also been towed.

No suspect information has been released.
