SANA SYED is a Reporter for Fox 25's Primetime News at Nine. Before joining Fox 25, Sana worked as a Producer/Reporter for WBRZ in Baton Rouge, LA. While there, she covered Katrina and the aftermath. From interviewing rescue crews that drove in from all over the country and slept in their trucks to people who lost everything, she says she learned the most from that experience. Prior to WBRZ, Sana worked in her hometown of Fort Worth, TX. She started her career in broadcasting with an internship at WFAA and worked her way to KXAS.

During her time with Fox 25, Sana has reported on numerous events, including ice storms, the 2006 elections, Saddam Hussein's execution and dirty jobs. She also covered the American Idol finalists in Hollywood.

Sana earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and hopes to start on her Master's Degree soon. She is trilingual in Spanish, Urdu/Hindi, reads and writes Arabic and strives to learn more languages. In her time away from the newsroom she loves to read, work out, do kickboxing and yoga.
