MATT AUSTIN is the weekend anchor and reporter for the FOX 25 Primetime News at 9. Matt's first day at FOX 25 was spent reporting on the big ice storm in January of 2007. He calls it “Trial by ice.” Matt is used to cold weather. He spent two years as a Morning Anchor in Idaho before heading to Oklahoma.

Matt has a passion for stories that have never been told before and he will go to great lengths to get them. He has driven 8 hours to find a modern day cave man. Stories have taken Matt through white water rapids and off the face of a cliff. He has informed parents of dangers on the internet, in local waterways, and right next door.

While Matt loves his job, he says the best part of his day happens when he walks in the door at home and hugs the two prettiest girls in the world. Matt and his wife, Tricia, have a one year old daughter named Addison and they are thrilled to be in Oklahoma. You can catch Matt anchoring the Weekend edition of the Primetime News at 9 and reporting during the week.
