LISA MONAHAN is a reporter for the FOX 25 Primetime News at 9. Lisa was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Lisa graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Communications.

While at UCO, she spent four years as a reporter, producer, and anchor for KCSU Channel 22 in Edmond. The highlight of her college career was a summer spent in Los Angeles doing an internship with Entertainment Tonight. She also received the first place collegiate newscast award in 2004 from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters.

Lisa began her career as an Assignment Editor and Reporter for Fox 25 before moving to KXII in Sherman, Texas. At KXII, Lisa worked as a morning reporter, anchor and producer covering stories across southern Oklahoma and North Texas. While she enjoyed working in a two state market, Lisa says she is glad to be back in Oklahoma City at a station she calls home.

Although being a reporter has been a passion since middle school, the
backbone to her success is family and friends. Away from work Lisa enjoys cooking, working out, playing with her puppy Ellie, and traveling.

If you have a story idea, Lisa would love to hear from you.
